🌸My Lush Valentines Faves🌸

Valentines day is nearly here and these are my favourite products from the Lush Valentines Day Collection. You can buy these for your partner, your friend, your family or to just treat yourself (This is what I did). This is just my opinion and I hope you enjoy reading!

Rose Bombshell Bath Bomb

rose bombshell

This is one of my all-time favourite bath bombs, I used it a lot of times last year and loved it! “Rose Bombshell” speaks for itself. You drop it into the water and it fizzes fast, and yellow rose petals come shooting out into your bath water. This bath bomb turns the water a deep pretty pink and the yellow petals float around your bath. Not only does this look amazing it also smells amazing. It smells like sweet sticky rose, the same scent as “Rose Jam”. The Rose absolute and Rose oil make this product smell so good! The scent is also very strong in the bath which I love because sometimes I find it hard to smell a bath bomb when it is in the water. This bath bomb is perfect if you like sweet and pink baths. I hope Lush makes this product an all year round one!

Cherryish Body Scrub

DSC01576.jpgThis product looks so pretty and it smells like chocolate and cherries. It is quite a rich smell (I think) but it is really nice. Definitely not a usual “Lush” scent but this is what I like about it. It smells a lot sweeter when you are using it, more like a Cherry Bakewell. I have used this scrub multiple times and the smell lingers on my skin. I am a massive fan of Honey Bee Body Scrub but and I think Cherryish is even better. Both contain Fair Trade organic cocoa butter which is moisturising for my skin but Cherryish is a much more “scrubbier scrub” and I really feel like it is working when I use it. The ground cherry stones and sea salt in this scub get your blood flowing and the sweet almond oil leaves you smelling sweet. I love this product because it is “naked”, so there is no packaging. This product isn’t messy at all but a fault is that it does go down in size quite quickly if you want a full body scrub (like me). I have used this scrub and then used the “Santa’s Christmas” shower cream from the Lush Christmas range (which smells like cola) and this combination left me smelling like a SNACK.

Unicorn Horn Bubble Bar

DSC01709.jpgI have used this bubble bar before so I knew I had to buy it again this year and stock up. This bubble bar is covered with lustre which gives your bath water a slight slight shimmer. If you aren’t a fan of glittery baths then this is for you. I did take a picture of my bath water once I used it but the picture did not look very appealing. I used just under half of this for one bath and it turned the water  a very light purple, but in the images i took it looked grey. I can imagine if you would use more of the product, the water colour would be much more pigmented. I love this bath bomb because it is soft and easy to crumble under the tap. Stepping into my bath, the water felt super soft and left my skin feeling soft afterwards. The Neroli Oil increases serotonin levels in the brain which makes you feel happy and cheery as lower serotonin has been linked to depression. The Lavender Oil will make you feel nice and relaxed so I think this is the perfect bubble bar to use when you are feeling a little low, right before bed. It smells a lot like lavender I think but a little sweeter than the Twilight Range.

Tunnel Of Love Soap

DSC01721.jpgThis is one of my favourite products simply because of its smell. I think it smells like the Never Mind The Ballistics Bath Bomb which has been part of the Christmas Range for the last few years. This product contains very fruity ingredients such as lime oil and orange oil which gives it a very zesty fruity smell which I LOVE. I think it smells like fruity sweets. It looks very pretty and if you are lucky, you will get a piece that has a pretty white love heart shape in the middle(I wasn’t lucky). This soap lathers okay just like all the Lush soaps but I have noticed this is very easy to grip onto. The majority of soaps slip and slide all over the place- not this one!!

Love Boat Bath Bomb

baot

This is one of the prettiest bath bombs EVER. The design is so cute, what you can’t see from my images is that on the bottom it is yellow and there are lots of little red love hearts which release as soon as this product hits the water. It turns your water a pretty pink and also super glittery. This bath bomb is supposed to “sail” around your bath but mine ended up tipping upside down straight away, but i did manage to get it to float around as you can see from my image, and it made a very cute pattern! and is a slow fizzer! This bath bomb is packed with citrus scents such as lemon and orange oil! It smells so so GOOD and reminds me of sweets from my childhood.

Thank you for reading guys! Have you tried any of these products before? If not, which would you like to try?

  3. The rose bombshell is definitely my type of bath bomb, always love a good floral-scented one 😍 The love bomb looks so cute as well, my skin is normally quite sensitive to citrus products, so I’m not sure how I’d find this, but I love the idea that it’s supposed to float on water and the little hearts that come out of it! This sounds like an amazing haul and I’m tempted to use my few remaining bath bombs tonight because of this haha! Great read as always Sharnah 😘

  4. These look gorgeous! I wish I could get in and out of a bath so I could lounge in the bubbles, but a Lush soap is also great for feeling pampered, definitely going to keep an eye out for these next time I’m near a Lush shop. 😊

      1. No, I don’t mind at all 😊 I have Cerebral Palsy so, whilst I can walk short distances with aid, I predominantly use a wheelchair and am not able to climb in and out of a Bath. I am very tempted, maybe I’ll do some online browsing 😆 X

  5. I can see why everyone’s obsessed with Lush’s bath bombs…these are SO cute!! Like this just made me so sad I don’t have a tub 😦 I’d really enjoy this range with a nice book. I love how creative Lush is and all the different things they bring out around popular holidays.
