🍂TREPADORA hair products for curly hair- Reviews🍂

Hi everyone! I got my hair done at hairdressers called Spring in Birmingham, UK and I am so impressed!  I can’t believe they got it so light WITHOUT bleaching! Have a look at the before and after pics! Anyway, whilst I were there they put Trepadora products in my hair and they gave me a few samples. I got on really well with the samples so I purchased some of the products myself and this is a review of the products!! Trepadora products are targeted at curly hair, so if your hair is curly I definitely recommend you carry on reading because these products are AMAZING. Their products are all VEGAN and include only natural ingredients.

🍂My Parcel🍂

I was so excited when my parcel came, it is always nice when you get a delivery though! I was very impressed with the packaging. From the outside, it just looked like a cardboard box but inside it was beautifully packaged as you can see. Every order gets a free sample and I also got a free lolly (which was really nice and fruity).

🍂Acai Berry Fix, Defining Gel 🍂

DSC00863.jpg

What it is supposed to do(taken from the back of the bottle): Trepadora Acai Berry Fix Defining Gel forms a flexible medium hold for styling. Anti-humidity. Anti-Frizz. Alcohol-Free. Appy to clean wet hair.

What it does: I normally put this gel in my hair after putting in a leave-in conditioner, when my hair is very wet or damp. I then diffuse my hair until it has dried a little bit, but not fully dry. This Gel is AMAZING, it is so light on my hair and does not weigh it down. It doesn’t make my curls go hard or crispy (which I used to like because I knew my curls would hold) but they do still hold and keep the definition of my of curls for long lasting periods. It keeps my hair soft.

Smell: I think this smells like a sweet fruity marzipan, my favorite smell out of them all.

Texture: This gel comes out very thick and sticky so it doesn’t run off your hands. The gel is also a clear colour.

Faults: It is sticky but I am probably just being fussy.

Price: £16 for 200ml.

 🍂Trepadora Babassu Quench, Leave-in Curl Primer 🍂

DSC00867

What it is supposed to do: Trepadora Babassu Quench, Leave-in Curl Primer gives you the ultimate base for styling. It works to increase curl definition with cuticle smoothing properties without weighing your hair down.

What it does:  It does everything it says it will do. This is the perfect base to put in before you apply a leave-in conditioner to your hair. Although I normally use this with the Gel, it works perfectly on its own too. It makes my curls extremely defined for long-lasting periods. But most of all it leaves my hair super soft, that is what I noticed most about this product. I can’t rate this enough! It’s so great. I have never used a hair primer before and now I don’t think I will ever stop using this! I can’t fault it! Soft hair, shiny hair, curly hair.

Smell: This product smells a lot more creamy, I think this is because one of the main ingredients is coconut.

Texture: Thick white cream which disappears in your hair. Very Light in your hair also.

Faults: Because it is so great, you can easily use a lot and it is quite expensive.

Price: £19 for 200ml.

🍂Trepadora Avocado Kokum, Curl Defining Smoothie🍂

sss.jpg

What it is supposed to do: Trepadora Avocado Kokum, Curl Defining Smoothie is a moisture-infused, medium hold styling product.

What it does: I have used this product a few times, not as much as the others so I cannot say much about it. When I do use it, it is always with other products so I do not pay attention to what it is doing or not doing. However, the other night, the front pieces of my hair were wavy and dry rather than nice and curly. So I wet that specific part of my hair and applied this product, scrunching my hair and the next day my hair was SO NICE. My curls were so defined and throughout that day they did not fall as much as they usually do! I will definitely be keeping an eye out.

Smell: I wish I could say I can smell avocado but i can’t. I am also not 100% sure on what avocado actually smells like. This, however, smells quite fruity but not that strong. Still nice though.

Texture: Thick white cream, disappears in your hair.

Faults: I wish the results were more noticeable.

Price: £11.00 for 100ml.

🍂Trepadora Quinoa Repair, Deep Conditioner 🍂

DSC00862

What it is supposed to do: Trepadora Quinoa Repair, Deep Conditioner is the ultimate, super-rich deep conditioning treatment for dry brittle curls. Leave on for 3-5 mins, for a more intense treatment leave on for 10 mins.

What it does: This is definitely a deep conditioner, it makes my hair super soft and tangle free. However, my hair is quite short so I can imagine the result would be different with longer or thicker hair. I haven’t got that much to say about this product, it is a good conditioner but not nothing too special. It is still one of the best conditioners I have used.

Smell: Very similar to the Curl Primer, very creamy and smells like soft coconut.

Texture: Very thick texture, almost looks like face cream but it rubs in your hands nicely and disappears in your hair.

Faults: I use conditioners a lot and this is just too expensive, I am going to have to cut down on how many times I use it. It is really hard to get out of the bottle, not sure if this is a technical malfunction though.

Price: £11 for 100ml.

Overall I highly rate Trepadora hair products! They’re very good! Smell great and aren’t too expensive! If anyone has tried any Trepadora products before and has got any recommendations let me know, please!

Thanks xx

  2. Your curls are popping! Blonde really suits you as well.

I’ve never heard of this product before but based on your review I’ll recommend it to a friend who’s looking for a new product.

  3. I have very dry, quite frizzy curly hair, so finding any good products is a miracle, the company you showed isn’t too bad on price either. I’ve given up on anything that isn’t salon grade. You look fantastic with lighter hair, really brightens your face.

  4. Hi Sharnah! I was so impressed to see that I have the same hair tyoe as you have. Your hair just looks Amazing! Thank you so much for your review, I really appreciate it!
Any updates about your experience with the avocado defining smoothy so far. I’m searching for a defining gel but as I am curly blonde I am fraid that it will make my hair look darker as other products have done in the past. So I’m struggling to decide between the berry one and the avocado.
And also, It is very true that the conditioner is expensive, can I ask you which one do you personally use?

    Thanks in advance

    1. Hi! Thank you so much! in regards to the avocado smoothie- it does what it says it does, it defines my curls when I use this product but this isn’t something I go to use every single day and something I tend to forget about, if that helps. I think this is because the other hair products I use are so amazing rather than this being not good, because it is good. The defining gel is amazing though honestly i don’t know what i would do without it, i haven’t had a problem with it making my hair look darker and i prefer the defining gel over the smoothie, but i would say they do 2 different things, the gel holds my hair and curls, i wouldn’t say the avocado smoothie does this. I hope this has helped! I normally use any drugstore coconut conditioner for curly/dry/frizzy hair or “repair conditioner “, Let me know if you have any other questions and thanks so much for reading 😊
